StoryBank_Intro.gif

Juliana produced the Myths & Legends storybank for the Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center, which is a documentation of local histories, memories, and fascinations of community members from Nyack, NY. Through the collection of these stories, Juliana exchanged information between the museum and the public, offering an opportunity to create a shared history of Edward Hopper and his hometown.

Juliana assisted with the development of Wild Home: An American Odyssey. Created by playwright Jessica Kahkoska and Notch Theatre Company, Wild Home: An American Odyssey is a new theatre project that brings to the stage the hopes, struggles, and experiences of rural communities under serious threat from extractive industries. Traveling to towns across the country, Notch Theatre Company and playwright Jessica Kahkoska partner with local communities to hold public story-sharing events, craft original plays based on shared testimony and community feedback, and perform these pieces with community and professional actors in outdoor spaces, interspersed with facilitated dialogue about wildland preservation efforts.
