Against all odds, small town film lovers take on the world.

Film Society follows the inner workings of a small group of community-minded film lovers. Despite few resources, these dedicated volunteers sustain the group because they are curious about the world and love the art of motion pictures. Similar to the hit BBC comedy, Detectorists, this is a story of unlikely friendships told through the lens of an artistic community. Film Society portrays a quirky slice of small-town life and applauds cultural connection.
